WHOLESALE PARTNERSHIP PROPOSAL  ·  PREPARED FOR FOOD BAZAAR  ·  2026

Korean grocery, kitchenware & household goods — merchandised, not just shipped.

A proposal from B&A Trading Corp to bring nine specific, ready-to-stock ideas to Food Bazaar shelves — starting with a low-risk pilot.

01
WHY US

Why this partnership, why now

Food Bazaar's own mission is to give the communities it serves "the flavors that they love and recall from back home." B&A Trading Corp already sources exactly that at wholesale scale — and Food Bazaar already has the playbook to sell it: the Bogopa Private Label program proves the store-brand model works for your shoppers today.

This proposal extends two things you already do well — ethnic-flavor merchandising and store-brand value — into new categories, with a concrete in-store plan behind every idea, not just a product list.

HOW WE'LL WORK

Flexible by design

Matched to how Food Bazaar wants to run this — not a rigid template. Every point below applies to every idea on this page, not just the candy display.

03
FLAGSHIP IDEA 01

The Rotating Candy Display

Matgouel-brand Korean candy, merchandised as an ongoing impulse program — not a shelf you stock once and forget. Twelve of the thirty-two flavors we carry, enough to keep the display fresh for a full year without repeating a set.

Already proven with US shoppers: the Scorched Rice flavor alone carries a 4.7★ rating from 60 reviews on Amazon.com. 12 of 32 flavors shown, mostly 300g bags 10/CTN.

Self-optimizing, not "set it and forget it"

The display earns its shelf space every week. Here's the cycle:

  • 1
    Launch with 10–12 flavors
Chosen for shelf appeal across fruit, ginseng/health, nostalgia, and soft-caramel styles — spread across all 4 sides.
  • 2
    Track weekly sell-through
B&A's rep logs units sold per flavor during the normal restock visit — no new task for Food Bazaar staff.
  • 3
    Swap the bottom performers
Lowest 2 flavors rotate out every 4 weeks, replaced from the other ~20 SKUs in the lineup.
  • 4
    Grow what's working
Top sellers get additional facings on the stand, up to a cap — the mix tunes itself to your shoppers.

Flexible by fixture: works as a rotating stand, a hanging aisle display, or a hook-mounted rack — matched to whatever space Food Bazaar can offer.

FLAGSHIP IDEA 02

Cookware first — it's already in our warehouse

The Food Bazaar Value Line: repackaging cookware we already stock deep inventory of — new labels, not a new product. Extends your existing Bogopa Private Label program with no new manufacturer, no tooling, and no lead time.

We already stock a marble-coating fry pan, a Chef Topf smart fry pan, and a Lee Sense wok pan at real volume. Extending your Value Line into this category is a relabeling exercise, not a product-development one — you'd shelve it right next to the national brand, the same way your existing Bogopa Private Label already does with rice and canned vegetables.

MORE SHELF-READY IDEAS

A menu of ideas at the same level of depth

Each one below comes with real product photography and a concrete in-store display plan — not just a description.

Hydrate in style — a color wall, not a shelf

A 15-SKU reusable bottle & tumbler line — Diamond, Pure, and insulated Folly Vincentino styles — merchandised as a pegboard color wall. This is our best idea for reaching shoppers beyond the Korean-American customer base specifically: reusable drinkware is a broad, active trend on its own.

Why your kimchi deserves a container that breathes

A 9-size Komax kimchi container line — the everyday brand, not the premium steel version. Most American shoppers making kimchi at home are still using plain Tupperware, which traps the gas as it ferments.

The towel that's already viral — just not on your shelves

The exfoliating body towel behind a genuine, ongoing TikTok/YouTube trend, in 4 sizes. Awareness already exists — availability doesn't. Extremely low cost to pilot, and a near-zero-risk way to test shopper response.

Everything for Korean BBQ, bundled at the meat case

Galbi & pork-belly scissors plus crocodile tongs — cross-merchandised at the meat case, catching shoppers deciding what to grill. The one idea here that likely needs a second conversation with your meat department specifically.

The character kids already know

Pororo-branded spoon/fork sets, chewable Vitamin C, and kids band-aids — a recognized character across many Asian-American households, not a cold-start brand. Placed at cart-seat height, the same real estate the candy display uses.

YEAR-ROUND

One fixture, used all year

The same rotating stand that carries candy in-season converts to a seasonal gifting display for Lunar New Year and Chuseok, so the fixture never sits idle. Same footprint, same rep-serviced restock cadence — a one-visit changeover, not a new fixture order.

ORDERING MADE EASY

Your own login, your own catalog

Each Bogopa store gets its own secure account on bandatradingcorp.com — no shared passwords, no generic order form. Logging in takes an account number and a PIN we hand you once; nothing else to remember.

B&A login page B&A account page

The catalog itself is fully bilingual — every product carries its Korean name alongside the English one — with 30 categories and free-text search across product name, Korean name, SKU code, and UPC.

Five clicks from login to a submitted order

Browse or search → "Add to quote" (instant, no reload, live counter in the header) → review the list with editable quantities → submit. The request lands with B&A's sales team and the store's own assigned rep instantly, with a printable itemized PDF and an optional email confirmation.

B&A catalog, mid-search B&A catalog after adding an item B&A quote review page

One system, however you prefer to use it

A store that would rather have their B&A rep handle ordering directly can — the rep opens the store's account and builds the exact same quote on their behalf, through the identical catalog and review screen. It's one system, not two: no store is locked into "must go it alone online" versus "must always call the rep."

10
NEXT STEPS

What we're proposing next

A low-risk pilot, not a catalog-wide commitment.

1

Pick 1–2 pilot stores

Standardized or personalized per store, whichever Food Bazaar prefers. A dedicated rep assigned from day one.

2

Install the candy display

B&A supplies the fixture and initial stocking at no cost. Hanging or hook formats available if shelf space isn't.

3

Run a 90-day trial

Weekly sell-through tracking, plus a lightweight pilot of 1–2 newer ideas — tumbler wall or spa towel are lowest-cost to try.

4

Review results together

Sell-through data, shopper feedback, and a go/no-go on rollout to additional stores.

Let's put Korean flavor — and Korean value — on Food Bazaar's shelves.

Thank you for the opportunity to earn Food Bazaar's business.
